Sahara Collective
Sahara has created a new wave of classical music under the creative drive of saxophonist and composer Sarah Louise Ings, formed in September 2007. Sahara Tango single release is available for download on itunes. Collaborating with jazz piano vocalist and composer Anthony Strong, Sahara performs tangos and popular classical music written by Sarah Louise Ings, Dimitri Scarlato and Anthony Strong.
Sahara has performed to sell out audiences across the UK. Pushing the boundaries of classical music; fusing Hip Hop, Classical and Latin music; this eclectic group of musicians is unstoppable. Sahara has astounded audiences of all ages; A music sensation not to be missed.
The individual success of these world-class artists must not go unrecognized. Achievements include; recitals at the Purcell Rooms, tours with Yamaha and Classic FM, NEC, Ronnie Scotts, Top of The Pops, the Vortex and performances with all the main London Orchestras.
